What is a gadget you couldn't possibly do without? And what do you think is the most important invention of all time?
This conversation lesson is designed to provide students with plenty of vocabulary, speaking, and writing practice around the topic of inventions, products, and services.
The lesson starts with activities aimed at helping students learn/review and consolidate collocations with the words product, invention, and service. Students are then asked to plan and present a sales pitch, with a special focus on practicing persuasive language. Finally, students are given step-by-step guidance on the drafting process of a complaint email.
